Over and over

As parents we have those moments where a kid is playing with a toy and they break it or mess it up…..they come to you to fix it. They do this over and over again on purpose most times. Then you finally say the next time I’m not fixing it or something along those lines.

You know it’s so comforting to know that God doesn’t do that. He fixes our brokenness and our problems that we create over and over again. And to no avail he never stops.

But if we would just do what he wants us to do and live a holy and acceptable life then we would need that brokenness to be fixed as much. Now, I am not saying it won’t be there at all because we are human but it wouldn’t be there as much.

Jesus talks to us about this many times in the Bible. We are called to be like him. We are called to live a holy and righteous life and acceptable one. We are supposed to be changed and ever coming to knowledge of Christ. Which means we are always learning and growing until we die. That being said we need to start doing that very thing and learn from our mistakes.

As always thanks for reading/listening to my thoughts. Jesus loves you!

Thoughts

You know many people struggle with the phrase “am I enough” throughout their whole life. The truth is we aren’t enough and we will never be enough.

The reason why we will never be enough is because that is how we were created.

We were created to need a God to need help and love and mercy from him. We were created to love him and adore him. We go through things that allow us to get to the understanding of the fact that we do need him.

In the Bible Jesus and some of the deciples were on a boat and as Jesus was sleeping a storm came. They were shocked that it was happening since they thought they would be safe because Jesus was there with them.

The truth is that we aren’t immune to storms happening in our life just because we have Jesus. But, we can rest assure that when we have them we have help through them.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Yesterday

Yesterday we went to church and I might add it was amazing!!!!! The pastor talked about how we need our cup to be packed full so full that we overflow with the Holy Ghost. It was an amazing message and I loved it.

We need to overflow with joy, grace, mercy, and love for others just as Jesus did. The only way to do that is to have his spirit within us overflowing onto others.

Today

Today I read a devotional talking about motherhood and how it’s hard sometimes to parent and how the child them selves can go through things that are hard and that’s why they maybe acting out.

I couldn’t help but think further into that….As people we go through things that are hard and we sometimes don’t understand what is happening or how we are going to get through it. But we all have purpose if not we wouldn’t be here.

2 Corinthians 4:17 says that our afflictions work for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Meaning We only go through things to make us stronger in our purpose and to grow into what we are made to be.

Future

I have personally always known that we go through stuff to make us stronger in our purposes but for some reason it hit home a little differently.

In the future let’s all try to relax in our circumstances and continue to think about the end goal. How this is going help someone or something in the future.

Thanks for reading and remember Jesus love you!

Sweet dreams

Today I was reminded that the Lord in his will gives us exceedingly more than what we ask of him.

We are his children and we are allowed to dream big. The bigger the better because when it happens we will be showing how God can move!

I love my God and all his goodness!

I am just basking in his sweet presence and his sweet timing for everything!!

God bless and remember you are loved!!!!

The firsts

There is a first for everything! I used to hate writing in school; I got a little older and thought hmm I might want to get my thoughts out there.

There is so many people making blogs and blogs sharing there life with others in hope of being inspiring. That’s my goal at the end of all of this! I hope to be inspiring to at least one person through this blogging experience!

I’m not sure what I am going to be writing about most but it will always consist of something about family, faith, and everyday life posts!
